CAFTCAD was established in May 2008 to celebrate the costume professionals of the TV and Film Industry! They welcome costumes designers and artisans from any unions/non-union to promotes discussions, learning opportunities, resources, and networking! The Not-For-Profit organization celebrates the contributions of its Canadian members in the industry! CAFTCAD will support their members whether they have been in the industry for multiples years or are students just starting in the industry.
CAFTCAD has worked towards education and learning for the ever evolving costume industry. They make resources easily available to their members as well as organizing course to learn new skills or refine existing ones!
The 2023 CAFTCAD Movie Wardrobe Sale is finally back! Tomorrow, Saturday December 16th, 2023, CAFTCAD will be hosting a Movie Wardrobe Sale at 3585 St. Clair Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario. The sale offer fabulous garments and accessories for people of all ages from over 30 vendors (including wotever inc!)
Find amazing holiday gifts as well as some great clothing for you, your friends, and your family! You will be able to find unique items, from hand made products, to designer, accessories, dead-stock, samples, fabrics, and vintage clothing! All under one roof.
You will also have the chance to talk and connect with industry professionals, local retailers, and film suppliers.
the Sale will be taking place from 10am to 5 pm with the regular entry tickets (10$ for non members) or from 9am to 5pm with the early bird tickets! (15$)
